Default Supplier Financial Analysis

Good Afternoon

Other than Experian and Dun & Bradstreet does anyone know of an alternative methods of supplier financial analysis. I have been recommended Onesource whose website state a fast and efficient services - but they never answer their phone!

This has been raised following a major OGC Gateway Review and I would like to implement much stringent analysis but where it can be understood by the procurement team without needing an accountant.

Comments welcome

Regards

Alison

Hi Alison,

I am new to this particular user group, and am unsure if you posted your query back in January?

Anyway, I just wondered how you got on with your search for FS analysis services and if not to understand a little more about what you are lookig for.

Kind regards,

Caroline

creditsafe.com is the one I use.

Its actually setup for Vendors to check if they should issue credit to a company. This scores the companies credit rating, listing of CCJs, listed directors, and accounts sent to companies house.

The trick I use is to demand this information at the PQQ stage and cross reference, any difference in the figures and depending on the level they would be watched closely or removed from the process.

Well I did try creditsafe.com and have found them pretty good so far. I went onto their website which admittedly was poor, but did get a call back from them after 10 mins of posting a query to them.

Next step is to complete an on-line demo with them which will allow me to navigate round their system and see just how complex or not it is.

Not cheap, but then neither is a bad supplier!

Darn, and I didn't negotiate a commission.

Missed a trick! ha ha ha.

Good luck with it.
